Everyday Prayers
Start the day looking for God in your everyday life. The Church of England website has a selection of Everyday Prayers to use in the morning, first thing after waking with a cup of tea, taking time over breakfast, walking to school, waiting for a bus to work or wherever your day is about to take you.
Click here to find your Everyday Prayer.

Learning To Pray

To pray is to make our hearts ready to experience the love of God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Praying regularly will help us to develop a spiritual rhythm. A discipline of prayer changes the way that we think about our lives, because it creates new habits of heart and mind.

Prayer opens us more deeply to the transforming grace of God. We enter into God’s presence, allowing the Holy Spirit to pray in us.

Whether you are a child, young person or an adult, prayer is easier than you might imagine! Millions of people of every age pray every day. Read more about learning to prayer on the Church of England website article here.

You can also find resources for Worship at Home on the Diocese of Chichester website here.

VACANCIES: PCC SECRETARIES
We are in need of Secretaries for both Clymping PCC and Yapton & Ford PCC (Parochial Church Council).
They each meet about 5 times a year. The Secretary takes the minutes, emails them out and produces the agenda for each meeting. They also compile the Annual Report for the AGM.
The new Secretaries will be given whatever support they need.
A job description will be provided and there will be an initial 6 month probationary period.
These are significant support roles in the life of the Benefice.
For more details, please contact the Rector.
